How It Works
From Deal to Payday
1
Deal the Cards
Each player deals once per round, choosing which of the 4 games to play based on the hand they're holding.
2
Name Your Hand
Pick strategically. Avoid penalties in Queen of Spades, race to empty your hand in FanTan. Your cards, your call.
3
Everyone Plays
No folding. No sitting out. Every player competes from the first card to the last — every single hand.
4
Settle Up
The banker pays winners and collects from losers after each hand. The richest player when the last card falls wins.
Game 1
Queen of Spades
Objective: Avoid the dreaded Queen of Spades — worth $100 in penalty.
Payoff: The player who steers clear of the Queen while watching others fall wins big.
Strategy and careful hand management are key. Navigate wisely, or suffer the consequences.
Game 2
Last 2
Objective: Avoid winning the next-to-last ($50) or last trick ($100).
Payoff: Tension builds with every card played. The endgame separates the skilled from the reckless.
Stay in the hunt until the final hand — but don't be caught holding the bag.
Game 3
Tricks
Objective: Win as many tricks as possible — each increases in value.
Payoff: Aggressive, calculated risk-taking is rewarded. This is your moment to dominate.
Go for glory. Stack your tricks, read your opponents, and cash in big.
Game 4
FanTan
Objective: Be the first to empty your hand.
Payoff: Fast-paced sequencing rewards long-term planning. First out wins, last out pays.
Race to play every card through strategic sequencing. Speed meets tactics.
01
No Folding Ever
Everyone stays in the game from first card to last. No sitting out, no watching — every player plays every hand.

Scales from a family night of three to a full table of eight. Same rules, same deck, always the right size.
From Our Players

Sarah M.
Mother of three
“The strategy gets deep fast. My husband never plays card games and now he won't stop talking about it. We've played six times in two weeks.”

“Perfect range — my 12-year-old and my 68-year-old dad are both obsessed. I didn't think that was possible from one deck of cards.”

How long does a game take? +
A full game typically runs 1–2 hours depending on the number of players and pace of play. You can also play a shorter version by agreeing to skip certain hands — the rules support this built-in.
Can we play with just 2 people? +
CardSen$e is designed for 3–8 players and really shines as a group game. Three players is the minimum recommended to get the full experience.
Do we need to know poker or other card games first? +
